Shrimp Bread
Ingredients
1 lb. Bowers Homegrown Shrimp; Peeled, Deviened and Cooked.
1 loaf French bread, sliced down the middle (can also use frozen garlic bread)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 oz cream cheese (can use plain or flavored: chive/onion or jalapeño works best)
2 cloves minced garlic
2 green onions, chopped
1 ½ cup shredded cheese (Mexican blend works the best)
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon Lemon Pepper
Salt, to taste
Directions
1. Rough chop your cooked Bowers Shrimp.
2. Stir mayonnaise, garlic, chopped onion, salt, pepper. Mixture should bind together.
3. Add cheese and shrimp; stir.
4. Spoon onto halved bread.
5. Bake for about 20-25 minutes at 350.
6. Broil on low 2-3 minutes or until cheese and bread is toasted.
7. Serve with a salad and make a meal of it, or slice and serve as an appetizer. Yum!
